Student Recitals

Participation in studio recitals is encouraged although by no means mandatory. By both playing in recitals and enjoying the performances of others, students will grow as musicians. As participants in recitals, students not only gain confidence as performers on their instrument, but also improve their ability to make presentations to larger audiences, an important life skill.

Recitals are generally held 4 times each year – early spring, summer, fall, and winter. A special holiday concert is held in December of each year which culminates with a fun and rewarding group performance. There is also a chance to participate in Bellingham’s annual Holiday Port Festival each December at the Alaska Ferry Terminal.
